I ‘traced’ these lips in illustrator today (see sidebar to see my shop link>it’s available in the shop!) It was a job of about 2/3 hours.I hope you like the result!

Arg! I don’t get it with Google’s albums: I uploaded it 4 times and it remains negative! go to my shop/deviantart account to see the real colours.

I just check my my bountee account on sales, like I do every day. I already losed most of my motivation, but when I scrolled quickly through my sales list of shirts (I was in a half rush because I had still some homework to do, in fact, when I’m writing this right now I’ve still got to do the same assigment) It was like a computer: sales: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0. By the number 1 I stopped and enjoyed the rest of my evening. (I sold ‘The naked Eye’, see my links on the sidebar)

A wonderful video and inspired me for t-shirt designs. I wonder which programs they used. I expect something like: Illustrator/Photoshop> Flash> Premiere Elements. A great video!

This vector fits perfectly in my ‘collection’! It took me roughly about 2 hours. I hope you see some improvement in this illustration according to the ‘Barack Obama’. It did took me much less time than Barack.

This is my own eye I rendered quickly (about 2 hours). Wanted it to upload but because it has many different opacities I’m not sure it would be printed like it looks on my screen. I’ll ask the Bountee administrator.

I really enjoy doing this. The ‘font’ is based on the t-shirt website funkrush. A brilliant site. A while ago they had such wormy font. The sketchy thing is from Joke Art (joke-art.com or on deviantart.com). I love his work. Generally all my vectors are inspired by joke art, especially the strong black brushes are my favorite.

This is a quick sketch I made within half an hour. Again I used the big black areas, and again I’m struggling with hair. As you can seen it has no high-lights and no shadows. If I find good tutorials on doing the hair, I’ll post them.

Yay! It is finally done. (despite the fact it is only halfway done) I worked several hours on this (about 11-12, but I’m not really good at estimating, it could also be 15 or 6), mainly because it has so many different tints. I tried to do it quiet precise, first I wanted to do the whole car but I failed. I did not really felt the desire to make the rest: Its the other side is the same, isn’t it?  : ] I’m quiet happy with the result, especially the banana like combination of colors, although I did not manage to make it more interesting with outstanding refections and highlights, which made its surface matte. reactions and tips are welcome

This vector is based on a photo from me. Because it has a high resolution i had to smallen the picture, you can see the fulview here. I started drawing a huge area black. I did it quickly. When the black shape was done I liked the result. I added more detailes like hair and such. But I kept it simple-shaped. Because of the small amount of objects it was easier to focus on smoothen and improve them. Finally I used ‘the spockpop logo’ and bright colours to fill up empty spaces.

I would like an opinion and some points of improvement.

I’m using Gmail (Google’s e-mail) about two years now and discovered some other nice features of Google. Including Google’s web albums: Picasa. <a couple of months ago. Today a made a web album. You can visit it by clicking on the underlyin’ box. Here I add work which I normally wouldn’t post on an art site like Deviantart.com (unfinshed work, quick work and such)

I just finished the black and white a bit in a rush, although I like the black. But when I started the coloring it started to go not like I wanted it to go. I would like some advice on the coloring and maybe reflection effects.unfinished vector firebird


The shading and such are much more visible here, and the shiny effect on the right side of the face is much clearer now.

Vectorized an image of my father. But I did not manage to draw the hair as you see. I’ve seen a couple of tutorials to do hair, but it is difficult…

This is my second vector in illustrator. Well not really the second, the second one I found resonable to post. Before illustrator I used Macromedia Flash (8), only to vectorize cars, you can see these cars on cabg.deviantart.com. It is quiet a different way of vectoring, but I think I’m alread used to illustrator now. I’m curious about how I should fill large flat areas with barely no colour difference> you can see the cheeks and forehead went wrong. The lips are a bit ‘pop’ and comic like, and I like that. Please give some advanced critique.
